Summer Experience

Here is a picture of me and my spiritual sisters whom I take care of last summer. The little girl I am holding is my niece. Isn't she cute? :) Well it has been a long time since I last updated my blog and a lot has happened since.

First thing first. Praise the Lord for blessing me with a summer with my church. Currently I am working as an interim youth pastor at my church in a student placement program. To put in layman term, the church put me in charge of my youth group. It is very stressful but I am loving every moment of it. It is a blessing from God for this job.

Second, I now have a slight hint of when I am going to Cambodia. As for the latest new, Emma (thanks God for such an awesome hardworking teacher who loves to send her students oversea; God bless her) has found a Vietnamese Australian couple who would take me in as my mentor until my actual mentor and his wife come. It is an awesome new as I have been stressing out about the issue of mentorship for a while now. It was only when I give it up to God that He reveals His wish for me. I will be going to Cambodia in November which is a perfect time for me. God has revealed to me that He wants me to stay and help out my church until then. That is awesome because I get to spend more time with my brothers and sisters here at my church. My relationship with them has been distant due to my schooling in Calgary. My time here until November will be a great time for me to re-establish and to strengthen those relationships as well as building new ones.

Third, as for my financial situation regarding Cambodia. God has been greatly generous as well. He has blessed me with a generous tax income as well as a generous scholarship. Those two blessings are great helps to fund my Cambodian trip. God truly blesses those who serve Him. To those who are going onSite and are worry about their financial situations, I have something to say to you.

"If it is God's will, then it is His bill"

He will take care of everything. Have faith and just focus on your relationship with Him.

That's all I have for now.
